Windy Hill Elementary teachers work hard to make sure children have a fun time learning. When not at school, children play and have fun at home. At Windy Hill, we want all children to feel like they are at home.
A new school can be an anxious experience. At Windy Hill, we meet face-to-face with every new student and their family to welcome everyone home. Open, two-way communication is important to student success, which is why when you enroll at Windy Hill we open those lines from the start.
On-Site Professional Counselor
Windy Hills is one of the few elementary schools in the county with a full-time professional counselor to help with the mental and emotional needs of students and support their whole child development. In and out of school, the mood of students has a profound effect on their success. Having a professional counselor on campus allows us to recognize when students may need help and immediately provide support.
Academic Enrichment Hour After School
TEAM Up is a high-quality, free after school program that allows students to remain at school for up to 3 hours each day. This provides a safe and nurturing environment for students where they have the opportunity to focus on areas of improvement while having fun. Students at Windy Hill enjoy this unique support system.
