Since 1926 Whitehouse Elementary has proudly served generations of families. Known for having high academic expectations for every student, we are also equally committed to teaching students the values of kindness, compassion, and enthusiastic curiosity. Through programs like STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math), we equip students with the knowledge, skills, and mindset they need to succeed in a rapidly changing world. By encouraging critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration, we help students look at life’s challenges as opportunities to grow.
Our school community is a tight-knit family where everyone feels welcomed and valued. Our staff greets students personally every day, and we have multigenerational alumni who continue Whitehouse traditions with their own children. Families new to our school are welcomed with open arms immediately. Our partnerships with local churches and neighborhood businesses are not just collaborations but opportunities for our community to get involved and make a difference in each child’s life.
At Whitehouse Elementary, we’ve crafted a nurturing environment where students feel safe, supported, and excited to learn. Students develop lifelong friendships through play and programs like our Title 1 nights. Academic teamwork fosters communication skills and collaborative practices, strengthening our shared sense of community. All these aspects have been purposely put into place to make Whitehouse Elementary one of the most student-centric schools in the city.
We offer a variety of exciting programs designed to enrich a student's educational experience and prepare them for success. From developing leadership skills to fostering inventiveness and teamwork, our special programs provide unique opportunities for every child to enhance every aspect of who they are and who they can be.
