Venetia Elementary's Book Character Parade is tomorrow (Friday, Oct 18th)! Parents, please join us in the car rider loop or front of the school for the parade at 9:30 AM. Students who are dressed as a Book Character will be able to participate in the parade walkthrough.
The Venetia Book Fair is still open until Thursday. 😄📚

Our first early release day is tomorrow. Dismissal begins at 1:30 pm and end at 1:45 pm. All car riders and walkers must be picked up by 1:45 pm. Bus riders will dismiss as normal. Extended day will run as normal until 6 pm.
School is closed on Thursday and Friday in preparation for the storm (Helene).

Week one is done and it was fantastic. We are excited for week two. Thank you for a great first week. Just a few reminders. Please be sure you have downloaded the PikMyKid App and completed your log in. We use PikMyKid to announce walkers, car riders, and extended day. You can also track when your child boards the bus and the bus departs from the school.
A few reminders...
*School starts at 9:00 AM sharp. The first bell rings at 8:55 AM.
*Early Check Out ends at 2:45 PM on regular school days and 1:00 PM on Early Release Days.
*You must show your physical ID, passport or military ID to check out students.
*You must be volunteered cleared to eat lunch with students or volunteer. Visit: www.duvalschools.org/volunteer
