Springfield Middle School students enjoy dynamic, hands-on learning, where no two days are the same. Imagine learning the theory behind rocket propulsion and then launching your own model rocket. Or studying biology before heading out on an excursion with our zoological society. At the same time, we offer the traditional middle school experiences, complete with a full lineup of Springfield Comets team sports and after-school activities.
At Springfield Middle School, your child will learn that the sky is the limit for their talent, energy and future goals! They will learn self-reliance, responsibility, intellectual curiosity, and will gain the confidence to chart their own path to success in school and throughout life. Along with advanced science electives in astronomy and life science, we offer a wide array of accelerated classes. This allows motivated students to earn high school and honors credits while in middle school and gives them a head start on their academic journey through high school.
