Stanton is proud to host a celebration honoring our active-duty and veteran military families on Thursday, 4/24 from 4:30 pm in the Stanton Media Center. This event is part of our recognition as a Purple Star School, and we’re thrilled to connect with and show appreciation for our incredible military community. This event is made possible in part by your PTSA – and we’re always happy to support activities that bring our Stanton family closer together! Light refreshments will be provided. Stanton is hosting Military Appreciation Week from April 21-25, and we encourage faculty, staff, and students to support by participating in our dress up days! Monday 21st: "Proud to be an American" Day - wear red, white, or blue Tuesday 22nd: "Branch Out" Day - represent your favorite military branch or wear camouflage Wednesday 23rd: "At Ease" Day - wear pajamas Thursday 24th: Squad Day - Assemble a squad and dress alike Friday 25th: R.E.D. Friday - Remember Everyone Deployed and wear RED. Students wearing red can receive a small treat during lunch, so be sure to represent!

Stanton's Drama Club will present the comedy-drama Late Bus this weekend. Shows are at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday, 7:30 p.m. on Friday, and 2 p.m. on Saturday. The show lasts about 95 minutes, so the Thursday show will end in time for students to ride activity buses home, if they wish. The play takes place outside the front of a high school where students who stayed after school for various activities wait for the "late bus" to take them home. We witness both the funny and the serious interactions among new kids, TikTokers, mean girls, band members, football players, detention-heads, and others. Admission is $8, and tickets are only sold online by debit or credit card at our.show/scplatebus. (That really is the URL - no .com or .anything, because that will re-direct you away from the site.) The Student Activities Offices invites you to the "RoyalTEA," where 9 contestants vying for the title of Miss Stanton will take you through an elegant experience that will lead to one of them being crowned Miss Stanton 2025-2026. The 2025 Pageant will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 6pm. Tickets are on sale now!!! Student tickets will be $10 and adult tickets will be $15. Tickets must be purchased via Go Fan (same site as athletic tickets are purchased). Note: There will be a service fee on each ticket purchased. Doors will open 30 minutes before show is scheduled to begin. When guests arrive, they must show and validate their ticket. Again, the ticket MUST be validated in front of the hostess.
