We’ve strived for academic excellence since 1921. We are the oldest school in the Arlington community, with a focus on building a solid foundation to develop little readers into future leaders.
We succeed when Dolphins read! We foster the ability to read, write, speak, and listen so that students can communicate effectively and make sense of the world around them. We are driven to develop the whole child with a solid well-being and positive mindset. We give students hope to believe and dream of endless possibilities for their future. We believe that we are the best-kept secret in Duval County Public Schools. We are a small hidden gem conveniently located from the core of the city, making us easily accessible to parents and families.
School Community that Feels Like Home
We make students feel like they belong, so they have pride in themselves and their school community. We have a diverse population where students feel included and support each other. We have annual traditions, like flag-raising ceremonies, "Spring into Reading," and Dolphin Olympics, all requiring teamwork and active participation.
