AJHS parents appreciate our focus on the whole child and the fact that we offer a variety of opportunities for their students to acquire the in-demand skills they’ll need in the future. Our Early College program with Florida State College Jacksonville (FSCJ) offers motivated students a way to earn both a high school diploma and an associate in science degree simultaneously with minimal financial cost. Students in grades 11 and 12 can enroll full-time at FSCJ. Parents also value the safe, supportive learning environment fostered by our close-knit AJHS families, teachers, and staff.

Our students pursue their educational passions thanks to our signature magnet programs that are innovative, challenging, and of the highest quality. Our Air Force Junior ROTC is the only such program in the U.S.! It prepares students for military or civilian aerospace careers. Dedicated academies in Cybersecurity, Sports Medicine, and Video Game Design give our AJHS students a head start on the future.
