JACKSONVILLE, FL – February 5, 2025 – The stage was set, the banners were hung, and the excitement was palpable as eight student-athletes from Atlantic Coast High School took a major step toward their futures during National Signing Day.
Surrounded by family, coaches, and teammates, these Stingray standouts signed their official letters of intent to continue their athletic and academic careers at the collegiate level. The event, held in the school's auditorium, was a testament to years of hard work, dedication, and perseverance.

Emmy Carpenedo – Girls Volleyball, Christopher Newport University
Morgan Duong – Girls Soccer, Clayton State University
Sophia Paul – Girls Soccer, North Carolina Wesleyan University
Noah Prudencio – Baseball, Florida State College of Jacksonville
Dalton Tibbetts – Baseball, Polk State College
Anthony Selejan – Baseball, West Virginia Tech University
Ian Santos – Football, McPherson College
Campbell Paulley – Beach Volleyball, Eckerd College
A Celebration of Success
As the signees took the stage, their coaches reflected on the dedication and leadership they brought to their respective teams. "This is a proud moment for all of us," said Atlantic Coast Athletic Director Kelly Blount. "These student-athletes have put in the work on and off the field, and today is a celebration of their achievements and bright futures."
For Emmy Carpenedo, who is heading to Christopher Newport University for volleyball, the day was filled with gratitude. "I wouldn’t be here without my teammates, coaches, and my family’s support. I’m so excited for this next chapter," she said.
Baseball had a strong showing with three signees—Noah Prudencio (FSCJ), Dalton Tibbetts (Polk State), and Anthony Selejan (West Virginia Tech). Their coach highlighted their impact on the program and the legacy they leave behind.
On the soccer field, Morgan Duong (Clayton State) and Sophia Paul (NC Wesleyan) will continue making waves, while Campbell Paulley will take her talents to Eckerd College for beach volleyball.
Ian Santos, who committed to McPherson College for football, spoke about the significance of the moment. "This has been my dream for as long as I can remember, and I can’t wait to get to work."
