The Federal Impact Aid Survey was released through the parent portal in FOCUS on October 28th to all families. We are requesting that parents/guardians complete the online survey for each school-aged child in their household by December 13th. To access the survey, log in to the parent portal, the survey will be available by clicking the green box labeled “Not yet started – Click to begin in English”. Seniors who were absent and have not completed their Senior Credit Checks, please see your School Counselor this week during your assigned lunch Monday - Thursday.
Graduating Seniors. The Seal of Biliteracy is given to graduating seniors with a standard diploma who can show competency in another language. This may be done in one of three ways.
Earn a 3.0 in four consecutive high school credit World Language courses.
Pass a language test approved by the State of Florida.
Complete a portfolio.
Please check your student email for details on how to apply. Applications are due by Friday, March 7th, 2025. The test dates will be released when available.
The window for off-campus Spring Dual Enrollment is now open. Students must be a junior or senior with a minimum 3.0 unweighted GPA, have qualifying college-ready test scores, and have taken, are currently taking or are enrolled to take SLS for second semester. First time Dual Enrollment students must create an FSCJ account. Parents will receive an email and must then submit approval of their student's request to take an FSCJ class. First time Dual Enrollment students must submit their online application by Wednesday, November 6 by 2:00PM and before completing the Registration form for classes. To receive instructions to create an account, new Dual Enrollment students must see Ms. Anzualda in Room 538 during their lunch Monday - Thursday before Monday, November 4.
Current and New Traditional Dual Enrollment students must submit Registration forms electronically by 2:00PM Tuesday, November 12. Email or meet with Ms. Anzualda during your lunch period Monday - Thursday before November 8 to receive a FILLABLE electronic Registration form.
Senior families! We have four full pages left for senior ads. They are currently available for $200 each until November 15th when the price will increase to $300. You can purchase and design your ad online at yearbookordercenter.com with the school code 10665. You can also pay cash directly to Ms. Lakatos. Reach out to Ms. Lakatos if you have any questions.
