Vision
Every student is inspired and prepared for success in college, career, and life.
Mission
To provide educational excellence in every school, in every classroom, for every student, every day.
Core Values
EXCELLENCE. We expect the highest standards throughout our organization from the classroom to the District office.
INTEGRITY. We foster positive relationships based on mutual respect, transparent values, and the consistent demonstration of actions.
INNOVATION. We create dynamic, new systems and processes that solve problems and overcome challenges.
EQUITY. We promote an environment that ensures fairness, equal opportunity, and diversity.
COLLABORATION. We are a community of individuals who work together as a cohesive unit to achieve a common mission.
Our community was given its name by a railroad conductor who stopped his train near a white frame house located beside the track many years ago. In 1926, Whitehouse Elementary school Number 51, opened its doors. The original building housed five classrooms and a library and served grades one through eight.
Since that time, Whitehouse has grown considerably. From 1955 to 1968, a total of eighteen permanent classrooms were added. In 1987, the original building was completely renovated and a new building was added, providing much needed office space. Most recently, in 2001, the original building was once again renovated, a new "cafetorium" was constructed, plus four additional classrooms were built at the south end of the property.
Whitehouse continues to grow with our students and community. The entire staff is looking forward to spending time with you and your children throughout the school year.
