When students return on Tuesday this will be the start of the 4th nine weeks. We only have 40 days left of school in the 2024-2025 school year.
Wednesday is Early Dismissal Day. We will dismiss PreK students and their siblings at 12:30pm and start dismissal for everyone else around 1:00pm. Please make sure if your child is a car rider that you are on time to pick them up. Our teachers and staff have training at 1:15pm.
Wednesday is also our House Meeting and BIZI store. House meeting will start first thing in the morning at 8:35am. Classrooms will have designated times to attend the store for the items that they purchased.
This week is our City Year Core Member Appreciation Week. City Year is a part of our school and helps our 3rd through 5th graders. You have seen them around in the Red Jackets. We have dress up days to show support. Please join us is showing support.
Tuesday is wear Red day- City Year signature color
Wednesday is Hat Day- hats off to City Year
Thursday is Green Day- wear Green to signify the "Go Green" spirit of our school!
Friday is wear a RHP uniform shirt or uniform color shirt! We are Team at RHP.
Just a reminder that students are not to arrive prior to 8am. We do not have supervision prior to 8am. Also, we need to make sure parents are going through the car rider line and not cutting through parking lot. We have some parents that drive fast and it makes me worried when students are cutting across the parking lot.
We are happy to see everyone on Tuesday morning! We are ready to start this last nine weeks and finish it strong! See you all on Tuesday!

Weekly Update for March 10th
Welcome back everyone! We hope you enjoyed your weekend! This is our last week prior to Spring Break. We have a few events happening this week.
PMA3 Science for 5th grade (only) will be on Tuesday. Please make sure all 5th graders are on time and prepared to test! The assessment is only one day so please make sure they are there so that they will not have to take a make-up.
Play Day is on Thursday! We will have 3rd-5th grade Play Day from 9:30am-11:30am and then Kindergarten through 2nd grade from 12:00pm-2:00pm. Please make sure students wear sneakers (NOT crocs) to school. They can bring a water bottle with them as well. We will provide water and Gatorade as well. The weather should be nice and perfect for a fun day!
The third quarter will come to a close on Friday. Teachers will start finalizing grades this week and even that Monday when we return from Spring Break. Please encourage students to turn in any missing assignments by the end of the week. We will only have one more nine weeks until the school year is over when we return from Spring Break!

Let's make this a great week! See everyone on Monday morning!

Weekly Update for Week of March 3rd
Welcome Back!
This week will be a testing week for our 2nd-5th graders. Testing will be Tuesday through Friday. They will take the district Reading and Math Assessment. This will be that last scrimmage prior to the final state assessment in May. We will be able to use the data to determine what benchmarks we need to remediate prior to the final assessment. We will start testing at 9am so please make sure everyone is present and on time each day! This is important because students seem to do better when they test with their class oppose to testing with a makeup.
As a reward for being at school each day of testing (Perfect Attendance), we will hold a dance called an "Attend"Dance. Students will be invited on Friday afternoon and receive a snack and a juice. This event is free for kids. The only requirement is that they are at school each day.
PreK will have a field trip on Tuesday. So please make sure they are on time. The bus will not wait due to the time they must be at the event. Please reach out to PreK teachers if you have any questions.
Have a great rest of your weekend. We are looking forward to a great week. See everyone on Monday!
