The students at Matthew Gilbert will have an opportunity to participate in a school-wide bullying prevention program. The Olweus Bullying Prevention Program is a comprehensive framework designed to drive systemic change and foster a safe, positive school climate. The goals of the program are to reduce bullying issues and improve peer relationships. To effectively implement this program, students will complete an in-school survey starting November 18th. All students received a parent information letter to take home for your review. If you do not want your student to participate in the survey, please sign the form with your student’s name to return to the Main office by Tuesday November 12th. We are looking forward to continuing to educate all students on bullying prevention. If you have any questions, please contact the Main Office at 904-630-6700.

After school tutoring will start Tuesday November 5th 4:30pm-5:30pm. After school tutoring will be offered every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays 4:30pm-5:30pm starting Tuesday, November 5th. Student must have a signed parent permission slip to participate. Each student received the tutoring flyer and permission slip on Tuesday October 29th to take home.
