This year, our theme is "WELCOME TO OUR HOUSE!" Your child will become a part of their own "HOUSE" and will be motivated throughout the year to represent their house positively. Meeting the teacher and getting settled into the rituals and routines of the new year will be exciting. Kindergarten and First Grade come at 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Second through Fifth Grade come from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. There will be registration for the after-school program, pre-purchasing of spirit shirts, and other vendors. Keep in mind, we are a uniform school. Your child wears polos in any shade of blue, black, or ash gray. Their bottoms are blue, black, or khaki bottoms. On Fridays, the students wear their spirit shirts that represent their house. All students will spin the house wheel on August 16th to learn the color and house they will represent. Once they know this, they will be provided the spirit shirt in their correct color. ALSO, students are allowed to wear the color of their house throughout the week if that color is an option for polo shirts. For example, once your child learns that they are in the Orange House of Onraka, students may swag out their uniforms in orange by wearing an orange polo with khaki, blue or black pants. It is totally optional but allows for more personalization and spirit. However, it must still be in uniform. Polo and khaki, blue or black bottoms. No Crocks, Yeezys, or backless shoes are allowed.
