We had a great time at Math Night on Tuesday, October 22nd. We held our 2nd annual Mathlete Competition! Students from each grade level competed on teams, answering problems from each math strand in Florida's BEST Standards: Number Sense and Operations, Fractions, Algebraic Reasoning, Measurement, Geometric Reasoning, and Data Analysis and Probability. It was a tight competition, but in the end the teal team won! While students were competing, families were able to circulate through math stations presented by each grade level as well as visit the Book Fair. It was a great night of fun, games, and friendly competition! Thank you to all of the families that were able to join us and the Mathletes for showing off their math skills!
