The Duval County School Police Department (DCSP) Community Engagement Unit is a highly visible proactive unit, representing the department and the Chief of Police to establish, build, and sustain relationships throughout the diverse communities we serve.

The Community Engagement Unit is responsible for interacting and bringing awareness to the community through various means. With presentations, safety events, parent and school functions, and programs. The CEU is a vital part in bridging the gap between police and public relations. This unit also manages the department's webpage, and social media so the community, students, staff, law enforcement agencies, and members of the media are informed of the department’s information and events. The team focuses on student and staff community engagement, transparency, and partnerships with Department stakeholders.

In doing so, we collectively improve the quality of safety for all students, staff, administrators, parents, and the school community.
