Nov. 13, 2024 - The entire Jacksonville community is invited to the district's inaugural Career Academy Showcase this Saturday, Nov. 16.
This free event will be an exciting showcase of the 67 career academies that are available to Team Duval students including cybersecurity, medical sciences, cinematic arts, landscaping, aviation, digital marketing, and culinary arts.
What: The community is invited to attend the district’s First Annual Career Academy Showcase. This eye-opening event will feature exhibitions and demonstrations from the dozens of career academies in the district. Attendees will be able to speak with current career academy students and staff to learn about these programs and see firsthand how Team Duval students are gaining real-world skills and job certifications while still in school. Enrollment and career academy placement information will be available.
