Nov. 13, 2024 - Duval County Public Schools will soon begin the adoption review process for math intervention materials for grades K-4. Members of the Jacksonville community are invited to apply to be a part of the review process; especially those with a passion for math instruction and intervention, and knowledge of the State of Florida math standards.

Community members on the review committee will assist the district in assessing intervention materials for grades K-4 and in making a recommendation that will serve as an intervention resource for students struggling with math starting in the 2025-2026 school year.

The review process will take place as follows: Nov. 22, 25, and 26 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Schultz Center at 4019 Boulevard Center Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32209.

Participation Eligibility
In accordance with Florida Statute 1006.283, eligible participants must be a parent of a student who is currently enrolled in a Duval County Public School OR a community member who resides in Duval County.

Additionally, individuals must commit to all dates and times for their input to be counted toward the recommendation.

Participants will be selected on a first come, first serve basis to comply with room capacity.
