21st Century Century Community Learning Centers

Opportunity for Non-Public Schools
The US Department of Education, through the Florida Department of Education, provides funding to communities through 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC).
The 21st CCLC Program is an afterschool program offered at select schools in Duval County. Each 21st CCLC Program is a combination of academic assistance and remediation and recreation and enrichment activities for students and their families. Additionally, the nutritional needs of students are addressed through snacks and a light dinner each day. The 21st CCLC afterschool program is free of charge for participating students.
This is a notice to private, non-public schools that are interested in participating in the program. Students who live in the participating schools' attendance zones are eligible to attend afterschool and summer programming at these schools free of charge. Teachers who work in non-public schools may also participate in professional development opportunities that are offered by the program.
If your school is interested in participating in afterschool or summer programming for students, or professional development for teachers, please email Jamiera Franklin for more information.
There will be a public virtual meeting held for all interested parties on Monday, May 9. More information about this opportunity can be found here.
The 21st Century Community Learning Center program will be offered at the following school locations beginning in August.
