We have a VPK for four year olds with Spanish Enrichment. Half of the day is spent following the Coalition's curriculum and the other half of the day is center activities, outside free play, and one hour of Spanish Enrichment where students learn basic Spanish.
Our VPK program is from 8:30 AM until 3:00 on Duval County school days. On Early Dismissal days, the VPK program ends at 12:45 PM.
The VPK program is open only to students who will be four years old by September 1, 2023. West Riverside Elementary is a Title I school and offers a free VPK program.
VPK applications must be completed through the Early Childhood Department and the Early Learning Coalition. See Early Learning Coalition website for more details. Space is limited. Contact the school for availability.
