Palm Avenue's Wood Cutters and More is a business enterprise dedicated to producing woodcraft products, engaging in simple construction, honing industrial skills, and providing lawn care services. Through this school-based initiative, students participate in entrepreneurial activities aimed at fostering personal responsibility, developing employability skills, and enhancing confidence as they prepare for adulthood.
Among the wood-building projects undertaken are hand-crafted puzzles, which will be available for purchase by parents, staff, and the community. Additionally, students acquire essential lawn care maintenance skills by assisting in the upkeep of Palm Avenue's grounds. This includes operating a lawnmower, trimming branches and bushes, raking leaves, and more.
