Duval County Public
Schools consist of 183 schools throughout the
Jacksonville metropolitan area. The district is divided
into
four clusters: two elementary clusters
and two middle/high
school clusters. We have 104
elementary schools, two
K-8 schools, 24
middle schools, two
6-12 schools,19

exceptional student centers, one
virtual school, seven
alternative schools and 21
charter schools.
Duval County Public Schools, and all of the schools under its jurisdiction, has earned
accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. As one of the nation's largest public school districts, Duval County serves approximately 125,000 students.
